Follow information in My Richmond

Follow a record

Choose Follow on a property, project, neighbourhood or published question. If you aren't signed in, the button asks you to sign in first. The button changes to Following; choose it again to stop.

The Overview in My Richmond lists what changed on the things you follow since you last looked.

Manage what you follow

Following lists every follow, with a per-item Email updates switch and a way to stop following. Your saved searches are listed on the same page.

Submissions and replies

My submissions lists everything you sent while signed in or added from a tracking link. Open one to read the conversation and any City reply.

Notifications and preferences

The bell in the header shows when you have unread notifications. Notifications lists them, and you can mark them read or unread.

In notification preferences, choose which kinds you want: Responses to my input, Property updates, Project updates and New engagement opportunities. Each can have Also send email turned on. Choose Save preferences.

Email and in-app notices

In-app notifications always work for signed-in users. Email is an extra copy and depends on the deployment having an email service configured. Where it is not, nothing is emailed, and SRR records the message as not sent rather than claiming it was delivered. Replies and updates are still shown in My Richmond and on tracking pages.
