For City staff

Manage images and documents

Add images, describe and classify them, choose the primary image, and check which documents are public.

Before you start

A City staff account. Some steps need an administrator, as noted.

Add an image

  1. In the property workspace, open Images and documents.
  2. Upload a JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 3 MB and between 400 and 8,000 pixels on each side, or Choose from library.
  3. Fill in Caption, Alternative text and Source or attribution.

The browser checks the file before sending and the server checks it again. Images on unpublished properties are only shown to staff. This part of the workspace is English only.

Classify the image

Every upload starts as illustrative. Change Image type to verified site photo only after confirming it shows the site, and add a verification note. See Image classifications.

Primary image and order

Mark one image Primary; it appears on cards and at the top of the gallery. Use Move earlier and Move later to set the gallery order. Remove image deletes it from the property.

Documents and site studies

The Documents list shows the files attached to the property and whether each is public. Only public documents are served to visitors. Adding new document files is not yet available from the workspace.

Illustrative site studies are prepared by the project team for specific records; they are not uploaded through this screen.
