Status labels
What availability, readiness, publication, project stage and submission status labels mean, and how they differ.
Availability
- Available: the site can be pursued.
- Under negotiation: discussions are under way.
- Not currently available.
- Availability not provided: no information has been recorded.
City readiness
- Shovel ready: the City has designated the site as ready for development.
- Developable: development is feasible, with items still to resolve.
- Under assessment: the City is reviewing the site.
- Not designated: no designation has been made.
A designation is a City determination recorded by staff. It is not a planning approval, a permit or a guarantee.
Publication
Staff see Draft, In review, Published and Archived. Only published records are public. Unpublished changes means a published record has edits that the public can't see yet.
Project stages
Proposed, under review, approved, in progress, completed, on hold and withdrawn describe where a development activity stands, as recorded by the City. Milestones are marked completed, current or expected.
Submission status
Received, assigned, under review, responded and closed. Closed means the conversation is finished, not that a decision was made.
